Located in the heart of downtown Kirkland, this area is a blend of residences, small businesses, and parks. Real estate here is at a premium (featuring the highest prices of the Kirkland neighborhoods), where much of the housing offers water and mountain views. You will find many, many luxury homes and condos in this area, including those with water frontage.

The downtown area is pedestrian friendly; in fact, it was designed with pedestrians in mind. Walk to nearby galleries, eateries, and such parks as Marsh Park, Houghton Beach Park, Marina Park, and Peter Kirk Park.
