Juanita

The community of Juanita is located north of downtown Kirkland along the waterfront. It is a growing neighborhood, complete with grocery stores, banks, and restaurants. When the sun is shining, Juanita Bay's Juanita Beach Park is a popular place for sunbathers, volleyball players, and swimmers. Juanita Bay Park is another local summer haunt.

This area is known for its more reasonable home prices. Plans are underway to develop an "urban village" area in the heart of Juanita, which would incorporate apartments, condos, and an upscale boutique-type retail market.
